TOMMY MORGAN has spent more than 50 years in the recording studios in Hollywood. He has recorded over 500 feature film soundtracks in more than 7,000 recording sessions. He has also recorded projects in New York, Las Vegas, San Francisco, Vancouver, Toronto and London (UK). He has recorded with some of the finest musicians in the world. He has asked several musicians with whom he has worked in Hollywood to join him on this project. He has watched them all come into the Hollywood studios and mature into some of the finest recording musicians in the world.

GUESTS: The credits of these players include almost everything--major motion pictures, television movies, and specials, The Barbra Streisand New Year's Eve Special and her Australian and "Farewell" tours. The Academy Awards Shows, the Opening Ceremonies for the 2002 Winter Olympics, symphonies, operas, Broadway shows, and a whole list of recording artists from Elvis Presley to Frank Sinatra.

DAVID LOEB is a brilliant pianist, keyboardist (all keyboards), conductor, arranger and composer. He is pianist with the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra. He became active in the studios in 1980. This marks the fifth album that he has recorded with me.

THE BRASS

JON LEWIS -- Trumpet. Jon became active in the studios in 1993. He divides his time between playing in Symphony Orchestras and studios. He is 1st Trumpet for the TV series JAG, and recently played the Trumpet solos for the HBO movie Path to War. (See www.jonlewis.net).

JIM THATCHER -- Horn. Jim became active in the studios in 1977. He is first call French Horn in Hollywood, and he gives numerous clinics in the US and Europe. In 1997 he asked me to join him in presenting a clinic at the International Horn Symposium at the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, NY. My subject? - ensemble and solo phrasing. Jim has a new album, Now Playing (www.summitrecords.com - "search" Jim Thatcher).


ALAN KAPLAN -- Trombone. Alan became active in the studios in 1976. He is a great session player who has recently released a solo album of his own, Lonely Town (www.alankaplan.org).

JIM SELF -- Tuba. Jim became active in the studios in 1973. In The Friendly Beasts, Jim and I recreate the Harmonica/Tuba "sound" we played on the Jerry Goldsmith score to Dennis The Menace and the John Debney score to The Little Giants. Jim has recorded several albums of his own (www.jimself.com).

DAN HIGGINS -- Flute and Clarinet. Dan became active in the studios in 1985. He is "Mr. Woodwinds" in Hollywood, being a first chair player on Saxophones, Clarinets and Flutes. He also has released a solo album City Side (www.danhiggins.net).

GAYLE LEVANT -- Harp. Gayle became active in the studios in 1965. A longtime friend and colleague, Gayle and I recorded Ave Maria (Bach-Gounod) for the Windom Hill Bach Sampler album.
